Job Description:

The candidate will be working with the Crane Engineering and Quality project group detailing specifications, overseeing procurement, installation, maintenance, and repair of bridge, gantry, portal, and mobile cranes. Climbing and working at heights is required. As well as infrequent shift rotation and may need the ability to be TLD qualified.

Climbing and working at heights is required. This position does require the successful candidate to be on call for occasional weekend work.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Candidate should have significant electrical
engineering experience with electrical system design, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and/or crane/lifting and handling equipment. Experience with drive systems is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication and computer skills (example: MS Office) are essential. Strong project management and organizational skills are required. The engineer will manage the schedules, budgets and status reporting of assigned projects.

In addition, they will issue and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives. The ability to address technical, quality and business aspects of a project is essential. The ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in accomplishment of complex tasks is required.
