Responsibilities
NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Cryptologic Liaison Officers represent NSA or its subordinate organizations in interactions with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and foreign partners. Description of the Position Cryptologic Liaison Officer's responsibilities include: Developing, nurturing, and/or negotiating relationships with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and foreign partners. Operating in a collaborative and responsive environment, maximizing dynamic partner capabilities. Assessing stakeholder needs and identifying capabilities to address those needs. Providing timely and effective support and information sharing within appropriate legal authorities. Identifying the internal and external politics that impact the work of the organization and responding accordingly.
Skills
The ideal candidate is someone with a desire for continual learning and who possesses strong communication (oral and written), problem-solving, analytic, interpersonal skills, and is: Knowledge of TCS Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED)/Collection Management, COTS Equipment Evaluate Technical Solutions, Operational and Technical Alternatives; Identify Engineering & Design Problems; Perform Technical Research; Analyze and Interpret Technical Technical Information Exchange Within and Across Organizations; Technical Writing and Documentation. customer and results oriented strategic investment and prioritization of funding for services, COCOM/SOCOM Program of Record able to negotiate with and influence others able to build relationships across the Agency and with external stakeholders, as appropriate able to work effectively (independently and/or within teams) across functional areas in a collaborative environment able to take action in highly complex situations detail-oriented able to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables able to identify, manage and resolve conflicts and disagreements in a constructive manner accountable adaptable
Qualifications
Salary Range: $68,036 - $106,012 (Full Performance) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC is preferred. Salary Range: $96,970 - $148,967 (Senior) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC and managing people or projects is preferred. Salary Range: $134,789 - $164,200 (Expert) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic). Related experience in IC or DoD considered. External engagement/collaboration experience (ex., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC and managing people or projects is preferred.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
