To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement, and must possess strong technical ability in the following areas:
Experience developing test automation. Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging. Proficient in SQL and RDBMS systems. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments is a plus. Familiarity with NoSQL databases is preferable (Couchbase, Cassandra, MongoDB). Passion for quality, exceptional attention to detail. Creative thinker and strong problem solver. Highly organized.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Develop test strategies. Automate tests using test frameworks. Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems. Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving data quality. Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary.
What You Will Need:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science OR 3 years of experience as a Database Engineer
